Journalist Bhesh Raj Karki has been elected as a Vice President of the Film Critics Society of Nepal (FICSON). The election took place during the society’s general assembly held at the Nepal Film Campus in Pingalasthan, Kathmandu.
The assembly selected a new executive committee for a two-year term under the leadership of the newly elected President, Samipyaraj Timalsena.
The newly elected Vice President, Mr. Karki, is also a recipient of the prestigious Janaseva Shree award, a national honor. The award was declared by the Government of Nepal on Constitution Day 2022, and he was felicitated by the President of Nepal on April 14, 2023 (Baisakh 1, 2080).
The general assembly was attended by notable figures from the society, including immediate past President Dipendra Lama, former President Yagyashar Pandit, former General Secretary Narayan Amrit, and immediate past Vice-President Smriti Dhungana.
